Speedo opens 45th India store in Bengaluru’s Forum Mall

The global swimwear brand Speedo opened its 45th store in India in Bengaluru’s Forum Mall in Koramangala. With this opening, Speedo now has eight stores in the city.

Speedo’s new Bengaluru store houses its full range of swimwear for men, women and children. The store also has a dedicated section for the brand’s new footwear line. 

Speedo, which opened its first brick-and-mortar store in Bengaluru in 2011, now has a total of eight in the metro. “We attribute this growth, to a combination of hard work, a dedicated team, and most importantly, a loyal customer base,” said Speedo India’s business head Neer Chauhan at the new store launch, according to the brand’s press release.

“Speedo has always been an industry leader in swimwear and we’re certain the new store will meet all the needs of Bangalore’s swimming enthusiasts and hopefully encourage other patrons to take up the sport.”

As well as continuing to expand its brick-and-mortar presence across India, Speedo also aims to expand online. “Our e-commerce launch this year will help us reach out to consumers where our brick and mortar presence is limited,” said Chauhan.

The brand opened its third store in Pune last month in Seasons Mall, Magarpatta City. Speedo has stores across cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Cochin, and Jaipur.
