Alma en Pena is driving its expansion further. The Spanish footwear brand has introduced 13 retail points in China since May, when it signed a deal with Parkson, one of Asia’s largest department store groups. While the agreement was settled on seven new store openings for 2015, the number of points of sale opened has almost doubled the initial figure.

This summer, Alma en Pena has grown by 50% in sales over its full-year 2014 figures. Vizgar Shoes, the group that owns the label, hopes to achieve over 10 million euros in sales in 2015 – including Adela Gil, the group’s second shoe brand that owns six stores in Madrid.

Alma en Pena has also begun its American expansion. Monica Rucabado, director of the brand, told Fashionmag.com that the label’s Spring 2016 collection has proved a great success in American trade fairs, where it is showcasing these weeks. The executive hopes Alma en Pena’s success in the US market will pave the way for a Latin American expansion.

The Spanish-based footwear brand Alma en Pena is at the moment only retailed in multi-brand stores, but according to its director, the label plans to launch a network of branded stores within two years. Among Madrid and Barcelona in Spain, the brand lists Dusseldorf, Germany as a possible location. Alma en Pena has a current sales network of over 3,000 retail points worldwide.
