SoulTree’s maiden flagship store houses its range of skin, hair, and make-up products. The store was constructed using biodegradable materials, non-plastic fixtures, and reclaimed wood and also operates with a zero-waste policy, the brand announced in a press release.

“The Indian market is ready to experience a fresh take on Ayurvedic beauty,” said SoulTree’s managing director, Nitin Passi, in a press release.

“By entering the brick-and-mortar space, we aim to introduce consumers to the attributes of this clean, sustainable, and ethical wellness brand.”

As part of its focus on sustainability, the store’s beauty advisors wear clothing made from 100% organic cotton. The store was designed inspired by the Japanese concept of Wabi-Sabi and has a warm, simple, and fluid interior.

“As a pioneer in introducing sustainable practices in beauty, I’m delighted that SoulTree’s first store is also the first solar-powered wellness store in the country,” said Passi. “We plan to expand our retail footprint and will bring the SoulTree experience to consumers, by opening more stores across key metros.”

SoulTree describes itself as the world’s first certified organic  Ayurvedic wellness and beauty brand and is India's first BDIH, Germany accredited brand.

As well as its retail presence in India, SoulTree also retails through multi-brand outlets in countries including France, Germany, Switzerland, the UK, Spain, Bulgaria, Ukraine, South Africa , Australia, and Japan.
