Sonali Jain presents “The Spark Collection” at Bombay Times Fashion Week

Designer Sonali Jain made her runway debut at Bombay Times Fashion Week at the weekend with a collection titled “The Spark” for spring/ summer 2019.

Jain presented a collection of opulent evening wear on the runway at the St Regis Hotel in Mumbai as part of Bombay Times Fashion Week.

“The Spark” featured gowns and lehengas in tulle and thick satin and a colour palette of cream, grey, and coral. As well as clothing, Jain also presented her jewellery line on the runway. Designs included Polki uncut diamonds and fusion elements to create statement pieces. 

Celebrities Hina Khan and Priyank Sharma walked the runway with Jain to close the show as its showstoppers. Khan wore a coral pink embellished lehenga with a one-shoulder cropped blouse and Sharma wore a matching coral jacket with a sand-hued kurta underneath. 

“Today has been overwhelming and I am still trying to comprehend all the love and appreciation you guys have been showering me with,” wrote Jain on her social media after the runway show on March 24. “I cannot thank you guys enough for the support… This is just the beginning of our journey, and I am eternally grateful for such a start.”
