Sky Gold Ltd Q4 net profit jumps 48 percent to Rs 6 crore

Mumbai-based jeweller Sky Gold Ltd witnessed a 56 percent rise in net profit to Rs 6 crore ($7,24,957) for the fourth quarter ended March, as against Rs 3 crore in the year-ago period.

The company’s total income for the quarter rose by 25 percent to Rs 270 crore, as against Rs 215 crore reported in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
For the financial year, the company posted a net profit of Rs 18 crore and revenue of Rs 1,154 crore.
Commenting on the results, Mangesh Chauhan, managing director of Sky Gold Limited in a statement said, “This year has been unequivocally the most exceptional in our company’s history as we have surpassed the monumental milestone of Rs 1,000 crore in turnover. It is an extraordinary moment that exemplifies the unwavering faith our customers place in our work.”

Founded in 2008, Sky Gold Limited is engaged in the business of designing, manufacturing, and marketing of gold jewellery.
