SkinKraft steps into bodycare with new launch

AI enabled beauty and personal care brand SkinKraft has widened its product selection and stepped into bodycare as it aims to take further advantage of India’s booming beauty and wellness market.

SkinKraft’s new ‘Bodycare’ product category launched with a selection of body washes, body care goods, lotions, and scrubs, the brand announced in a press release on May 19. The new range is priced in the mid-section of the market at between Rs 449 and Rs 599. 
 
The range uses ingredients including coffee, almond oil, aloe vera, and sunflower oil among others. The sulphate-free and mild formulas are designed to hydrate and address specific skin concerns. 

The beauty and wellness market in India was valued at Rs 901.07 billion in 2018 and it is expected to reach Rs 2,463.49 billion by 2024, according to SkinKraft. The business aims to increase its market share of this fast-growing industry by adding more products to its portfolio. 
 
SkinKraft describes itself as, “India’s first AI enabled customised beauty and personal care brand,” and retails from its dedicated e-commerce store as well as on Amazon. The business has conducted over 10,000 hours of research to develop its products which are designed to enhance skin’s natural health.
