Skechers launches new campaign with Ananya Panday
Sports and lifestyle brand Skechers has launched a new campaign 'Originals Keep Moving' featuring actor Ananya Panday, to strengthen its connection with the youth in the Indian market.
In the campaign, Panday will be seen endorsing the brand’s flagship fashion lifestyle collections, Skechers D’Lites.
Skechers sees huge potential for growth in the Indian market and banking on campaigns coupled with celebrity endorsements to make deeper inroads.
Commenting on the campaign, David Weinberg, chief operating officer Skechers, in a statement said: “As great potential for growth exists here, we will seek new unique ways to target consumers of all ages to help the millions of consumers in this country discover and fall in love with the comfort, innovation, style and quality offered by Skechers.”
Commenting on the brand association, Ananya Panday added: “Being associated with Skechers has been an exciting journey as the brand is synonymous with comfort which is a big part of why I love Skechers so much. What ‘Originals Keep Moving’ means for me is that despite all of life’s problems, you don’t let anything or anyone stop you, and you just keep on moving.”
Skechers currently has over 260 stores across the country now and plans to set up 500 stores across India in the next few years.
