Siyaram Silk Mills posts Q4 net profit of Rs 82 crore

Textiles major Siyaram Silk Mills witnessed a 42 percent rise in its net profit to Rs 82 crore ($10.7 million) for the fourth quarter ended March 2022, as against a net profit of Rs 58 crore it reported in the year-ago period.

The company’s revenue for the quarter rose by 22 percent to Rs 640 crore, as against Rs 523 crore it reported in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.

For the financial year 2021-22, the company reported a total income of Rs 1939 crore, while its net profit for the quarter stood at Rs 216 crore.

During the financial year, Siyaram launched a host of innovative products including a range of bamboo fabrics to expand its presence in the market and expects strong results going forward.

Siyaram's has a strong presence in the menswear market, especially in the suiting and shirting segment. Apart from its private-label brands, Siyaram's also owns the rights to manufacture and market the Italian fashion brand, Cadini, in the Indian market.
