Simply Simone showcases collection at Atosa

On June 7, Simone Khambatta showcased the latest collection for her label Simply Simone at an exclusive event at Atosa in Khar West, Mumbai.

Simply Simone’s summer capsule collection, entitled “Summertime Gladness” was shown for the first time at an evening event at the multi-brand boutique Atosa on Thursday. Guests browsed the collection which included hot-air balloon motifs and summery shapes and Raw Pressery provided a selection of juices for the occasion. Guests also received a takeaway hamper by Happy Socks and Dr. Sheth's skin care products.
 
"Our Summer capsule collection titled Summertime Gladness brings out the essence of a perfect summer day,” said Khambatta in a press release. “Rainbows, birds, hot air balloons, and stars feature through the collection. Easy breezy silhouettes make this collection a must-have for all women's summer wardrobe." 

Guests at the event included Mehr Rampal, Rhea Chakraborty, Tanisha Mukherjee, Shweta Salve, Shonali Nagrani, Surily Goel, Shazahn Padamsee, Urvashi Joshi, among others. Commenting on the choice of Atosa for the preview, the brand said in a press release: “Atosa is one of the best known multi-designer stores of the city and their aesthetic matches that of our collection. We are so grateful to be able to preview this collection under their umbrella.”
 
Khambatta was born in Mumbai and brought up in Dubai where she finished her schooling before studying fashion design at Parsons School of Design, New York. Following that, Khambatta studied at the London College of Fashion before she launched her own label.
