Simone, launched by Simone Arora in 2014, houses a selection on home décor and launched a new upholstery floor on its second level this Thursday.

“I wanted to complement the old world heritage charm of this building with contemporary Parisian interiors—cornices, crystal chandeliers and Doric pillars and furniture,” Arora told Vogue India, when talking about the renovation that welcomed the new product line.

The brand space itself is a heritage building, which Arora has mixed with her signature French inspiration. The shop is also divided into seven different colour zones to aid in colour coordination. The second floor, dedicated to the new textile selection, now houses the brand’s D’Decor Home Fabrics. The selection, curated by Arora herself, takes textiles from her family furnishing business in an array of colours and textures, intended to be used for the home.

“I have created areas showcasing different colour palettes, that are like an amalgamation of varied fabrics—sheer to jacquards to chintz, it’s all here,” said Arora.

“The idea is to introduce colour themes as an option to imagine one’s interior space."
