Shyamal and Bhumika to present The Renaissance Muse with Kriti Sanon at ICW

Design duo Shyamal and Bhumika will present a collection titled The Renaissance Muse on Thursday at India Couture Week and Bollywood celebrity Kriti Sanon will walk as the showstopper.

Shyamal and Bhumika will present The Renaissance Muse at India Couture Week on July 25 as a collection inspired by the aesthetics of 15th century Europe reimagined in Indian bridal couture. The collection will feature both womenswear and menswear and garments such as men’s sherwani jackets, shararas, and kalidaar paneled lehengas.

"We are delighted to associate with Kriti Sanon,” said the design duo in a statement about their showstopper, as reported by News 18. “She is an epitome of grace and talent and has made her mark on her own terms. She is not only on the top of her game at present, she also represents the future and our brand strongly resonates with her."

India Couture Week is organised by the Fashion Design Council of India and is running from July 22 to 28 at the Taj Palace in New Delhi. Shyamal and Bhumika, launched in 2003, will join the nine other participating designers at the event including Amit Agarwal, Tarun Tahiliani, and Falguni Shane Peacock among others.
