Shruti Mangaaysh presents traditional wear with PNG Jewellers at Pune Times Fashion Week

Pune-based premium fashion brand Shruti Mangaaysh launched new men’s and womenswear collection ‘Jugalbandi’ on the runway at Pune Times Fashion Week. The showcase took place in partnership with fine jewellery brand PNG Jewellers. 

Shruti Mangaaysh’s latest collection mixed vintage imagery with both classic and fusion style silhouettes on the runway for a playful aesthetic. Women wore gowns and smart-casual sets and men wore long jackets and printed shirts. Celebrity Sonal Chauhan closed the show as its showstopper in a red lehenga with magenta blouse for a bold yet highly feminine look. 
 
PNG Jewellers accessorised the models with ornate chokers, long gold necklaces, and glistening earrings. Hair and makeup was kept classic yet understated to complement the fusion style of the collection.  

“Jugalbandi is an exotic experience of pen kalamkari, and pichwai art teamed up with organza, brocades and georgette,” Pune Times Fashion Week announced on Facebook. “Intricate dabka work with coins is the designer's muse for the entire collection. You even get to see some heritage motifs like cow, lotus, peacock and fish embedded in their elegant designs.”
 
Pune Times Fashion Week brought together a range of premium fashion brands at The Westin in Puneover the weekend. The runway event featured brands including Pink Porcupine, The Suit Story, and design institute The International School of Design as well as interactive sessions.
