Shopping fair Fashionista to hold private shows throughout February

Business-to-customer fashion and lifestyle shopping fair Fashionista will hold five ‘private show’ editions in February in Nagpur, Amravati, Nashik, Aurangabad, and Ahmedabad.

In order to continue its shopping fairs during the current pandemic climate, Fashionista has announced a new ‘private show’ schedule which aims to offer its signature selection of up-and-coming brands while enabling social distancing and keeping shoppers safe, the event organisers announced on Facebook. Fashionista will begin the month of February with an edition in Nagpur which will be its 49th in the city. 
 
The Nagpur shopping fair will take place at the city’s Hotel Centre Point from February 12 to 13. Featured product categories sill include women’s ethnic and western wear, jewellery, accessories, and gift items, among others. 

Fashionista will then travel to Amravati for an event at the Mehfil Inn from February 14 to 15 with a similar product and brand selection. The shopping fair will then hold its 29th edition in Nashik in the city’s Hotel Emerald Park.
 
From February 21 to 23, the shopping event will take place at Aurangabad’s Welcomhotel Rana for its 20th edition in the city. The private show will highlight, “elite designers from all over India,” Fashionista Fashion Lifestyle Exhibitions announced on Facebook. 
 
Finally, the event will take place in Ahmedabad from February 25 to 26 at The Grand Bhagwati. All shopping fairs will follow strict health and safety procedures, according to the organisers.  
 
Fashionista held its first shopping fair in 2008. To date, the event has taken place in over 40 Indian cities totalling over 300 events. The event aims to give smaller fashion brands a platform from which to reach new customers in different, non-metro locations.
