Shoppers Stop strengthens retail presence in national capital Delhi

Fashion and beauty retail chain Shoppers Stop has strengthened its retail footprint with the launch of its sixth store in the national capital city of Delhi.

The new store located at Soul City Mall in Dwarka is spread across an area of 34,218 sq ft and will house more than 500 international, national, and in-house brands from Shoppers Stop spread across multiple shopping categories.

Commenting on the expansion, Venu Nair, managing director CEO of Shoppers Stop Limited in a statement said, “At Shoppers Stop, we strive to ensure a seamless shopping experience for our customers. With the launch of our sixth store in the capital, we have expanded our retail reach and reinstated our commitment to our customers. With the launch of this store, we have expanded our reach to 90 stores in 48 cities.”

Shoppers Stop has been rapidly expanding its presence post the Covid-19 pandemic opening 24 stores in the last fiscal year. The company plans to open another 25 stores during the year with focus on tier 2, 3 cities across India.
