Shoppers Stop expands presence in Bengaluru
India’s leading fashion and beauty retailer Shoppers Stop has strengthened its retail presence in south India with the launch of its seventh store in the city of Bengaluru.
The new store located at Forum Prestige Mall is spread across an area of 55,696 sq ft and houses over 500 international, national, and exclusive brands spread across multiple categories.
Commenting on the launch, Venu Nair, managing director CEO at Shoppers Stop Limited in a statement said, “With each new store opening, Shoppers Stop strives to elevate the brand experience for consumers. Key markets such as Bengaluru, known for its sense of style, will offer discerning consumers the best the brand has to offer. We are confident that the new Shoppers Stop store in Bengaluru will strengthen our retail offering.”
“The mood is bullish at Shoppers Stop and we are very enthused with our expansion plans. We will continue to increase our product portfolio to meet the needs of our customers,” added Nair.
Shoppers Stop has been on an expansion spree post the Covid-19 pandemic and plans to open 12 to 15 stores every year. With this new store, Shoppers Stop currently has presence across 98 department stores in 49 cities.
