Shoppers Stop appoints Shwetal Basu as chief of marketing and communications
India’s leading fashion and beauty retailer Shoppers Stop has appointed Shwetal Basu as chief of marketing and communication.
In her new role, Shwetal will lead the marketing mandate of the brand and help widen its presence across the country.
Commenting on the appointment, Venugopal G Nair, managing director and CEO Shoppers Stop, in a statement said: “We are delighted to welcome Shwetal as chief of marketing and communication. Basu has over two decades of experience in customer behavior, marketing, and communications, across multiple industries such as FMCG, telecom, security services, banking, and retail. In her previous roles, she has worked with Metro Brands Ltd, and Aditya Birla Retail Ltd, among others.
