Shoppers Stop opens first ever store in Dehradun

Shoppers Stop has opened its first ever brick-and-mortar store in Dehradun in the city’s Centrio Mall. The multi-brand fashion and beauty retailer’s new store features interactive elements and a mix of Indian and international brands.

The store was formally inaugurated by Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Pushkar Singh Dhami, Shoppers Stop announced in a press release on October 17. The store measures around 37,000 square feet and houses over 500 brands with a focus on apparel, accessories, and cosmetics. 

“With each new store opening, Shoppers Stop strives to elevate the brand experience for consumers,” said Shoppers Stop’s customer care associate, managing director, and CEO Venu Nair in a press release. “Key markets such as Dehradun, known for its sense of style, will offer discerning consumers the best the brand has to offer. We are confident that the new Shoppers Stop store in Dehradun will strengthen our retail offering. In addition, the launch of this store will add to the festive cheer in the city, making it one of the most sought-after shopping and leisure destinations in Dehradun.”

Brands which retail in the new store include Jack and Jones, Levis, Celio, And, JJ Kids, Adidas, Puma, Renne, Only, Hush Puppies, and Mac Cosmetics among others. The store offers free Wi-Fi, food and drink, and is children and senior citizen friendly, according to Shoppers Stop. 
 
With the new store opening, Shoppers Stop now counts 92 department stores in 49 Indian cities. The business recently opened its first store in Bihar in Patna and its current expansion plan involves opening between 10 and 12 stores a year.
