Shoppers Stop launches Kendall + Kylie handbags in India

Shoppers Stop has launched Kendall + Kylie handbags in 17 of its brick-and-mortar stores as well as online, bringing the brand to India for the first time.

Celebrity sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner’s handbag line has come to India. Hoping to tap into the pair’s immense online popularity, Shoppers Stop has launched their recent collection both on- and offline. The brand officially launched in the country on February 14 in 17 Shoppers Stores in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Jaipur, and Ahmedabad as well as on its e-commerce platform.

The multi-brand fashion retailer Shoppers Stop has brought the brand to India as it too has a large millennial customer base. The brand’s founders have a combined total of over 200 million Instagram followers and are “two of the most influential pop culture phenomenon’s and style icons of this generation,” according to Shoppers Stop’s press release. 

The Kendall + Kylie handbag collection features backpacks, tote bags, wristlets, and fanny packs among other styles. From classic black to flashy holographic, the collection caters to a range of styles. Prices begin at Rs 1,299 ($18.22) and range up to Rs 5,999.

Shoppers Stop has a current total of 83 large-format retail outlets in 38 Indian cities. The business offers over 400 global and Indian brands across categories including clothing, sunglasses, jewellery, and fragrances among others.
