Shopmatic partners with PayU for increased digital payments options

International e-commerce platform Shopmatic has partnered with the payments business PayU to facilitate faster digital payments in order to grow its India business.

Shopmatic has partnered with PayU to give its India customers an additional payment option for online shopping, the business announced on October 21. The partnership will allow merchants to track refunds among other features. The Singapore-headquartered multi-brand businesses launched in India in 2015 and retails a range of products including clothing, accessories, and lifestyle goods.

“We are delighted to partner with Shopmatic to extend instant and easy omni-channel payments solutions to its merchants,” said Noopur Chaturvedi, PayU’s India country head for small and medium businesses, as reported by ET Bureau. “Through this partnership with Shopmatic, we are powering the ambitions of the small and medium merchants. We are confident that our innovative payments solutions will simplify payment processes for Shopmatic’s merchant partners.”
