Shopmatic launches new e-commerce solutions
E-commerce solutions provider Shopmatic has launched a range of new e-commerce solutions on its platform including selling through messaging apps, an increasingly popular method in India.
Shopmatic’s new e-commerce solutions enable online retailers to choose from four solutions for selling online: social selling, chat selling, marketplace selling, and selling through web stores, the business announced. For businesses selling through chat features, including social media sites like Facebook and messaging apps like WhatsApp, Shopmatic will provide businesses with a checkout link that enables them to complete the sale.
“With the new solution we can now bring in millions of sellers in the emerging markets into the e-commerce ecosystem,” said Shopmatic’s CEO and co-founder, Anurag Avula, ET Online reported.
Shopmatic’s new ‘Single Checkout Link’ is designed to boost sales as people who use the link to purchase goods can share the link with their contacts, which will introduce sellers to new audiences. Businesses will also be able to share the link themselves across social media. The link will also enable shoppers to complete their purchases on a chat platform without having to have a conversation on chat beforehand.
Shopping through chat features is especially popular with those new to online shopping and it enables businesses to build trust with their customers. Shopmatic’s new range of e-commerce solutions are designed to help businesses, especially smaller ones, further push this method of online shopping.
