Shopclues witnesses a 120 percent rise in demand for ‘Made in India’ products

Indian e-commerce platform Shopclues claimed that it witnessed a massive surge for ‘Made in India’ products during the festive season where the demand for products rose by 120 percent over last year.

With a surge in demand, Shopclues has expanded its inventory to more than 4 crore products, which are sold by more than 7.5 lakh vendors.
 
Commenting on the festive season sales, Anuraag Gambhir, head of marketplace at Shopclues, in a statement said: "We’re expecting a huge festive rush this year. To meet the needs of our customers, we’ve expanded our range of merchandise and partnered with several local vendors whose diverse products add much value to our platform. We hope to elevate the shopping experience for our customers by offering them great promotional offers on our products this year.”

In addition to partnering with local vendors, Shopclues has also onboarded brands like Catwalk, Puma, Boat, Beardo, Bajaj, and many more on its platform.
 
The Gurugram based e-commerce company currently sells retail goods across fashion, home decor covering over 31,500 pin codes across the country.
