Shobitam appoints Raghu Sethuraman as chairman, CEO

Direct-to-consumer ethnic wear brand Shobitam has appointed Raghu Sethuraman as the chairman and CEO of the company.

In his new role, Sethuraman will facilitate the brand’s growth and help solidify Shobitam’s position in the ethnic wear market across the globe.

Commenting on his appointment, Raghu Sethuraman in a statement said, “I have been forever in awe of the rich tradition of handlooms, arts, and crafts, where I am glad to join a brand with a big bold vision. Sethuraman has over 24 years of experience in e-commerce, global operations, cloud infrastructure, customer experience and high-tech industries in Seattle, Silicon Valley, Hong Kong, and India. He has previously worked with organizations like Amazon, Microsoft, Shutterfly, and Cisco.
