Shivan and Narresh steps into ski wear with new line 'Farrago'

Resort wear brand Shivan and Narresh has stepped into ski wear with the launch of its new men’s and women’s clothing line ‘Farrago’ and aims to make a mark on the winter segment of the luxury travel wear industry. 

Shivan and Narresh is known for its bright, bold beach and summer resort wear and retails from its dedicated e-commerce store. The luxury brand has now officially forayed into winter wear with a line of ski suits, coats, garments, and accessories which feature the same eclectic prints and patterns the brand is famous for. 
 
Farrago mixes technical design to keep wearers warm on the slopes with a modern interpretation of traditional Ralli quilts of Jaisalmer. Notable items in the collection include padded jumpsuits for men and women, puffer jackets and skirts, printed tights, and fishnet-style knitwear. 

“Right from its inception Shivan and Narresh was meant to be a luxury holiday brand for the worldly connoisseur,” brand co-founder Narresh Kukreja told Elle India. “This is the reason our animal Iconograms symbolise five distinct holiday lifestyles from Swim, Resort, Safari, Cruise to finally Ski. From the storyboard, the narrative of distinguishing each of them was envisioned to be so powerful that no matter where one travels be it land, water, sea, desert or mountains – you should only think of Shivan and Narresh.”
 
“The idea now is to revolutionise ski and the winter holidays after what we did with swim in the previous decade,” said co-founder Shivan Bhatiya.
 
The brand has ambitious plans for 2022. Along with opening a stand-alone menswear store, the label plans to open a flagship store in Hyderabad and pursue international expansion.
