Shivan and Narresh showcase custom prints and resort wear at LMIFW Digital

Shivan & Narresh showcased their latest menswear and womenswear collection on the final day of Lotus Makeup India Fashion Week digital with custom prints, embellished accessories, and a mix of resort and evening wear.

 
The collection featured the brand’s signature resort wear with flowing kaftans and coverups for both men and women. More formal, evening wear options included sarees and gowns with some more experimental, sculptural looks thrown in for good measure. 
 
The collection featured two custom prints, ‘Dame’ and ‘Oriri’, which were designed to show the beauty of human anatomy, the FDCI shared on its Facebook page.

In one print, the brand included the famous, historic painting ‘The Birth of Venus’ by Italian artist Sandro Botticelli and reimagined the goddess Venus wearing a polka-dot bathing suit.
 
Layering embellished, sheer textiles over the custom prints created an ethereal effect which was contrasted by metal hardware belts and leather bralets and bodices. As models walked the runway, decorated to resemble an Arizonan desert, the camera zoomed in on embellished accessories including waist-synching, oversized belts adorned with beads and embroidery.  
 
The neutral-toned looks evolved into multi-coloured ensembles with prints resembling a bright coral reef. The collection had a season-less feel, well adapted to the new retail landscape.
