Shivan and Narresh opens new flagship store in Kala Ghoda, Mumbai

Luxury men’s and women’s resort wear brand Shivan and Narresh has opened a new flagship store in Kala Ghoda in Mumbai within a historic 1940’s Art Deco building.

Shivan and Narresh’s spacious new flagship store houses its five holiday-wear themed lines for swim, resort, cruise, safari, and latest edition ski, the brand announced in a press release. The space is designed to evoke the spirit of a global traveller and features vacation-inspired design elements as well as Art Deco elements to reflect the building’s heritage. 
 
The store’s concept is ‘Art of Holidays’ and features a spiral staircase, marble inlay flooring, feature rugs, life-size frames of the brand's archival prints, and a bold floral design piece. While the ground floor is dedicated to the brand’s brightly coloured fusion-style resort wear, the upper mezzanine houses its celebration wear and couture as well as trial rooms and a private space for consultations. 

“The remarkable prominence of this space inspired restoration of the influence it once relished over the world, befitting to take shape as the brand’s flagship store in the heart of South Bombay, projecting glorious nuances of modern abstraction in its interior and structure,” the brand announced in a press release.
