Shivan & Narresh collaborates with Aulerth on jewellery line

Resort wear brand Shivan & Narresh has collaborated with jewellery design house Aulerth to launch a sustainable collection of jewellery inspired by traditional Indian coin adornments.

The new jewellery line is named ‘Numisma’, which is a Latin word from which the term ‘numismatics’ (the study and collection of coins) can be traced. Aulerth produced the line using completely recycled materials which are then gold plated, Elle India reported. 
 
“For both Shivan and I, our jewellery collection started with romancing the idea of how our mothers used to make their jewellery with gold coins as pendants and necklaces,” brand co-founder Narresh Kukreja announced on Facebook. “In India, there has always been a strong inclination towards collecting gold coins and this fascination was the genesis of the collection.”

The nostalgic yet wearable line is designed to be worn with traditional, western, or fusion wear and includes statement earrings, stackable rings, maximalist charm necklaces, and medallion-esque pendants. The line is a departure from Shivan & Narresh’s previous jewellery collections, which were made with a leather base, but remains true to the brand’s resort wear core.
 
“We are thrilled to announce Aulerth’s latest partnership with Shivan & Narresh and their signature style while being meticulous in its engineering and craftsmanship, which is Aulerth’s hallmark,” said Aulerth’s founder and CEO Vivek Ramabhadran, Elle India reported.
