Shishir Mehta opens luxury perfume boutique Scentido

On February 21, the new luxury perfume boutique Scentido was launched in Mumbai by Shishir Mehta and the store carries a wide range of speciality perfumes from around the world.

The Scentido store, which opened on Wednesday, has an Art Deco themed interior to compliment the array of perfume bottles it houses. The store is designed to carry a range of perfumes that are not found anywhere else in India and has both luxury and niche offerings.

“Scentido is for those who enjoy a taste of the finer things in life,” said Shishir Mehta, the boutique’s founder. “I developed a vast collection of elusive scents from many years of travelling and wanted to share them with the world. Scentido is the result of that passion- it’s an extravagant destination where one can indulge in an experience that captures all your senses.”

The boutique carries an array of perfume brands from the UK, France, and America. A small selection of the brands include Escentric Molecules, Ormond Jayne, Berdoues, Aedes De Venustas, Jovoy, Jeroboam, and Gabriella Chieffo. Notably, scents infused with real gold flakes are available from the UK-based perfumer Roja Dove’s brand Roja Parfums.
