Shades of India expands Meharchand Market store in New Delhi with new opening
Shades of India will open a new store in Meharchand Market, New Delhi, in the same area it opened its first brick-and-mortar retail outlet, on October 26. The store will have more space for the brand’s apparel lines.
In 2012, Shades of India opened its first flagship store in Meharchand Market, New Delhi and has since gone on to open in Gurgaon as well. The brand will now open a much larger store in Meharchand Market to have extra space for its womenswear, accessories, and homeware lines. The store will also launch a menswear collection in collaboration with Anupam Poddar which will then launch across all Shades of India stores.
The store will open with a launch event on October 26 from 12 to 3pm at the store.
The brand recently took part in the Shezade Mina Bazaar at Good Earth’s New Delhi store in Khan Market along with Sustain, Anavila, and Raw Mango and in Design One at the NSCI Stadium in Mumbai.
Founded in 1992, Shades of India is led by Mandeep Nagi and David Housego and has an international presence. The brand retails online through a tie-up with Jaypore and is present in a number of international multi-brand boutiques including Harrods and the Conran Shop in the UK, ABC and Gumps in the US, Le Bon Marche in Paris, and Lane Crawford in Hong Kong.
