Since Arvind Internet Limited brought Sephora to India in 2015, the brand has continued to expand and is now available in brick and mortar stores in Pune, New Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. As with the brand’s brick and mortar stores, the e-commerce site will sell Sephora’s own brand of cosmetics as well as other international brands. Some of the brands that will feature online include Cover Fx, Boscia, Stila, Foreo, and Benefit and all of these brands are currently exclusive to Sephora in India.

Some of the product categories that will feature online include haircare, skincare, fragrances and scents, body care, and make up. The e-commerce site also allows for in store delivery for customers who do not have time to peruse the brick and mortar stores or who are not covered by delivery.

The website that Sephora is hosted on, Nnnow, is part of Arvind Internet Limited and also hosts other international fashion and beauty brands such as Gap, Gant, Ed Hardy, Aeropostale, and Unlimited. Sephora’s move into e-commerce will put it in more direct competition with Nykaa, currently the largest e-commerce beauty brand in India which also has its own signature line of makeup.
