Senco Gold and Diamonds, the largest jewellery retail chain in Eastern India has partnered with Rio Tinto for an exclusive 'Australian Diamonds' collection.

The collection was launched at Senco’s Moulali showroom in the city of Kolkata by Mithali Raj, captain of the Indian women's cricket team and the official ambassador for Rio Tinto's Australian Diamonds.
 
The collection features an exclusive range of bridal and fashion jewellery made with diamonds from Rio Tinto's Argyle mine in Western Australia and will be available at all Senco stores across the country. The collection is priced from Rs 9,000 (approx $130) onwards.

Commenting on the launch, Suvankar Sen, executive director, Senco Gold and Diamonds, in a statement said, "We are privileged to have Mithali Raj at our store, to launch this exclusive collection of Australian Diamonds and our partnership with Rio Tinto, one of the world's leading diamond producers is an important milestone for us.”
