Select Citywalk mall highlights Korean beauty brands at 'Korea Fair'

Select Citywalk mall in New Delhi showcased beauty products from a wide range of Korean brands in partnership with Korean trade-investment promotion agency Kotra. The Saket-based mall held a Korea themed shopping festival this week to promote fast moving consumer goods from the country. 

The event was Select Citywalk’s third Korea themed festival to date following a continued interest in Korean culture, especially amongst Gen Z shoppers, the mall announced on Facebook. The atrium of Select Citywalk mall was filled with around 15 different vendors retailing a selection of cosmetics, K-pop themed goods, snacks, and other Korean goods with the aim of getting more shoppers interested in goods from the country. 
 
Korean beauty goods made up a significant portion of the festival with around 10 of the vendors selling cosmetics, India Retailing reported. Skincare on display included lotions, serums, toners, moisturisers, and face masks among others. 

The second day of the fair had reported around 80 customers by 11 in the morning, India Retailing reported. While some of the vendors do have outlets and retail channels in India, a number of the sellers had travelled over from Korea with the aim of testing out Korean goods in the Indian market.
