Sean John last week announced a licensing agreement with Evy of California for an exclusive boys and girls fashion line. The collection will launch in Spring 2016 and will include sportswear and outerwear.

Sean John, a privately held company created by music icon Sean "Diddy" Combs, first ventured into children’s apparel in 2000. Since then, Sean John has seen a huge potential for growth with vigorous sales of the Sean John boy's collection, making it a natural progression to enter into the girl's market.

Evy of California, a premier junior's and kid’s fashion design house specializing in branded collections, will introduce the brand’s first ever girls collection. This partnership will continue Sean John's plans to become a lifestyle global brand.

Jeff Tweedy, president of Sean John, commented, "We chose to work with Evy of California because of their expanding business model and their ability to source and design. We believe this partnership will move the brand forward with a collective vision and also bring to market the girls collection that the market desperately needs."

Evy of California owns and operates four brands and holds licenses for, among others, Ecko Unltd, Hello Kitty, Disney Princesses, Pixar, DC Comics and Peanuts.
