Satya Paul's take on sportswear - FDCI - Facebook

Satya Paul presented a bold, sporty collection as the final brand on the bill for day two of the Mumbai fashion week. The brand painted a digital dreamscape through graphic sets for men and women featuring fantastical prints and off-beat styling.

“Don't believe the sky’s the limit? Let us show you what we got,” Satya Paul announced on Facebook just before the show kicked off.

“The label presented new possibilities for an uncertain world,” the FDCI announced on Facebook. “A world in which fantasy comes alive on a planet increasingly closed to the power of the imagination.”

Prints ranged from photographic clouds and florals to more abstract lines and motifs on sheer textiles, classic hoodies, and more deconstructed garments. Graphic t-shirts with cartoon-esque designs were paired with athletic shorts and sheer layers while models wore metallic makeup looks with sprinkles of silver glitter.

Lakme Fashion Week in partnership with the FDCI runs at the Jio World Convention Centre from October 12 to 16. The fashion week features a Designer Stockroom sale, design contests, and sustainable fashion initiatives
