The Souled Store currently retails its licensed apparel and casual wear online and in its five brick-and-mortar stores and plans to open more offline retail outlets moving forward. Ali Khan’s investment in the brand, announced on Monday, follows its Series B funding round in 2021 when the business raised Rs 75 crore from a group of investors led by Elevation Capital, ET Bureau reported.

“Being an ardent pop-culture lover, and a firm believer in originality and comfort being as important as fashion, I see the brand as a perfect fit to invest in,” said Ali Khan about the partnership, the Press Trust of India reported. “I look forward to being part of the TSS family," she added.

“Her quirky and experimentative styling best reflects our brand image,” said The Souled Store’s co-founder Rohin Samtaney. “We couldn't have found a better investor and partner. We expect this collaboration will lead to great things together.”

The Souled Store retails a wide range of licensed apparel and accessories with recent collections featuring the logos for the new movie The Batman, television series Friends, and cartoon Powerpuff Girls. The brand holds 180 licenses from businesses including Disney and WWE enabling it to use the businesses’ logos on its products.
