Sanfe raises $1 million in Series A funding round
Feminine hygiene and skincare brand Sanfe has raised $1 million (Rs 6.65 crore) in a new Series A finding round and the business plans to use the funds to boost its customer service and marketing.
Sanfe’s latest funding injection will enable it to boost its visibility among its target customer base and boost sales through marketing initiatives, the New Delhi-based business announced on September 27, TVW News India reported. The brand also aims to continue to expand its product lines.
“Our investors have helped us immensely to make our vision a reality with their guidance and deep involvement,” said Sanfe’s co-founder Harry Sehrawat in a statement on the investment, TVW News India reported.
“It has helped us ensure that we stay true to our mission of being a voice and choice for women’s intimate wellness and hygiene.”
The brand has recently been launching new marketing initiatives and partnered with Bollywood celebrity Radhika Apte as a brand ambassador. The tie-up is designed to enable the brand to reach more customers and to further normalise the use of feminine hygiene and intimate skincare products. The brand plans to explore further collaborations with other celebrities in the future, it said.
Archit Aggarwal and Harry Sehrawat launched Sanfe after graduating from IIT-Delhi. The brand specialises in intimate skincare, period care, body grooming, and feminine hygiene products and it retails its product selection from its dedicated e-commerce store as well as on multi-brand platforms including Myntra, Nykaa, and Snapdeal, among others.
