Samir Misra appointed V Mart’s Chief Operating Officer

Value retail chain V-Mart has appointed Samir Misra as its chief operating officer. He joins V Mart from Aditya Birla Group.
 

Misra will report directly to the Managing Director and Chairman Lalit Agarwal. He will be responsible for execution of the brand long term strategies that include expansion across the country.
 
V Mart is very optimistic about the future and will further expand its retail network and product portfolio in the coming months. The company plans to launch special merchandise and clothing line for both men and women this year.

“With Samir’s people-focused leadership style, industry expertise, and market understanding we will continue to grow and strengthen our footprint while maintaining our position of being dedicated to bringing quality fashion to aspirational middle class consumers,” Lalit Agarwal , CMD-V-Mart Retail said in a statement.
 
V-Mart Retail Ltd recently signed Bollywood actors Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar as brand ambassadors to enhance the visibility of the brand. V-Mart has 174 stores spread across India, in 147 cities across India.
