Sabyasachi to hold jewellery showcase in Dubai

Luxury fashion brand Sabyasachi will hold a jewellery showcase in Dubai this February. The exclusive business-to-customer showcase will see the eponymous designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee present his latest fine jewellery designs at multi-brand boutique Bayt Damas. 

The jewellery showcase will take place from February 23 to 24 at Villa 1284, the brand announced on Facebook. As part of the pop-up shop, interested persons can book personal appointments with designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee himself to discuss jewellery options. The event will be the first chance for many UAE residents to view the brand’s new jewellery designs in person.
 
The showcase will feature items from Sabyasachi’s new jewellery collection titled ‘Bengal Byzantine Broadway’. The collection focuses on heavyweight, statement pieces such as bangle stacks, cocktail rings, pendants, large earrings, and chokers. Gold pieces are adorned with multi-hues gemstones and the mix of opaque and translucent stones and different stone setting techniques highlights the eclectic inspirations behind the collection.  

Sabyasachi is known for his opulent traditional wear and stepped into the world of fine jewellery in 2008 when he released a line in collaboration with Gaja. The designer then launched his own dedicated jewellery line in 2017 and has since opened flagship stores dedicated to jewellery and held several jewellery showcases in the US at New York’s Bergdorf Goodman department store. The designer also opened his first international store in New York, US in November, 2022.
