Sabyasachi to hold fine jewellery exhibition in Mumbai
From December 13 to 15, luxury brand Sabyasachi will hold an ‘Exhibition of Fine Jewellery’ in Kala Ghoda, Mumbai to present its latest collection of gold and precious gemstone jewellery.
Sabyasachi’s fine jewellery retail space at Ador House in Kala Ghoda will open its doors next week to give shoppers a rare chance to make appointments to see the brand’s maximalist take on traditional jewellery. Shoppers will also be able to book private consultations with eponymous designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee himself as part of the showcase, the brand announced on Facebook.
The brand’s latest fine jewellery collection for autumn/winter 2021/ 2022 features 18-carat gold necklaces, earrings, headbands, and rings set with diamonds and gemstones including blue sapphires, aquamarine, green apatite, and tourmaline, among others. Diamonds are a central theme of the collection with brilliant-cut, rose-cut, and mutual-cut diamonds taking centre stage on elaborate chokers and 1920s-style headbands.
As part of Sabyasachi’s autumn/winter collection, the brand also launched a range of leather handbags including new colour variants of its signature ‘Calcutta Sling Bag’ featuring the brand’s Bengal tiger motif. This season, a ‘Tropical Sling’ has launched depicting a tropical residence and palm trees in metal, as well as smaller clutch bags and embellished textile pouches.
