Sabyasachi partners with Thomas Goode for tableware line

Designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee has partnered with UK-based luxury homeware brand Thomas Goode to launch a line of tableware created by artists from the Sabyasachi Art Foundation.

Traditional wear designer and couturier Sabyasachi Mukherjee has teamed up with heritage British brand Thomas Goode for collection of plates, teapots, mugs, jugs, and bowls, featuring intricately detailed, nature-inspired designs. The luxury line mixes Sabyasachi’s opulent detailing and floral motifs with classic British tableware in a more sober colour palette of white, burgundy, and gold. 
 
“To launch the new partnership, Sabyasachi and Thomas Goode have created a tableware collection in which local flora and fauna, architecture, fables and parables are recreated through a hyper imaginative lens of Sabyasachi and hand rendered by the 43 artists from the Sabyasachi Art Foundation,” Saybasachi announced on its Facebook page.

The line is available at Thomas Goods stores in the UK at and The Oberoi at Mumbai’s Nariman Point in Mumbai in India. The line ranges from £110 (Rs 10,741.55) for a mug to £950 for a platter. 
 
Sabyasachi recently released a collection of festive wear including Kanjeevaram sarees. The brand also recently added to its fine jewellery line with a range of gold, pearl, and emerald jewellery featuring its signature tiger motif.
