Mukherjee’s jewellery exhibition featured a selection of jewellery made with gold, uncut diamonds, coloured stones, and fine diamonds, presented in the designer’s classic opulent and eclectic style. The appointment-only exhibition took place in the Taj Mahal Palace’s Golden Room, which represented the collection’s regal inspirations.

Mukherjee also released a short film for his latest Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery collection, which features models including Archana Akil Kumar and Eugenia White and hair and makeup by Deepa Verma. The film, shot at the Karauli City Palace, is also accompanied by a lavish photoshoot for Mukherjee’s latest ready-to-wear collection “The Urban Gypsy”.

Mukherjee’s new autumn/winter collection, which the designer chose to launch on social media, has influences from North India’s nomadic peoples with black clothing featuring bright, floral embroidery and mixed prints creating a feast for the eyes.

Mukherjee also released a small collection of bags in another collaboration with Christian Louboutin that feature some of the same embellishments found on the clothing from the collection, mixed with Louboutin’s signature calligraphic brand name.
