The “Sabyasachi for Thomas Goode” collection launched on September 17. The collection is designed as a wedding trousseau and includes hand painted dinner plates, glassware, table linen, and other lifestyle accessories. Mixing the 200 year old heritage of Thomas Goode and Sabyasachi’s renowned craftsmanship, the collection is presented in a Thomas Goode’s hand-crafted luxury shipping case.

“Calcutta and India play a pivotal role in the design ideology of the very first Sabyasachi x Thomas Goode collaborative dinner plates,” read the brands’ joint social media announcement on September 17. “Local flora and fauna, architecture, fables and parables are recreated through a hyper imaginative lens of Sabyasachi and hand rendered by the 43 artists from the Sabyasachi Art Foundation.”

Sabyasachi will also hold its first ever jewellery exhibition in Dubai from September 25 to 26 at Raffles Dubai. The showcase will feature Sabyasachi’s latest fine jewellery collection which includes gold, fine diamonds, coloured stones, and uncut diamonds. The by-appointment event will feature some of the jewellery seen in Sabyasachi’s recent Destination Wedding edit.
