Sabyasachi collaborates with Nilaya for luxury wall-coverings and furnishings line

Sabyasachi Mukherjee has collaborated with homeware brand Nilaya to launch a line of luxury wall-coverings and furnishings along with a campaign featuring Bollywood celebrity Deepika Padukone. 

The collaborative collection features wall-coverings with a series of prints by Sabyasachi including a dusky rose paisley print, green floral paisley print, palm tree print, a stripe and floral print, and deep red jungle-inspired print, among others. Furnishings including lampshades, cushion covers, and upholstery fabric to cover sofas and armchairs also feature the exclusively designed prints. 
 
The collection’s eclectic aesthetic mirrors Sabyasachi’s clothing and jewellery designs and also draws inspiration from the opulently decorated interior of the brand’s fine jewellery boutique. Named ‘Heartland: the Journey Back Home’, the collection has a nostalgic feel.

The new collection’s campaign features Deepika Padukone in a series of opulent interiors with the Sabyasachi wall paper and furnishings. The campaign was shot by fashion photographer Tarun Khiwal and also featured props by The Raj Company and The Great Eastern Home. 
 
Nilaya is a home furnishings brand launched by Asian Paints and retails from Asian Paints’ dedicated e-commerce store, where the collaborative line with Sabyasachi has just launched.

Nilaya also recently collaborated with fashion and lifestyle brand Good Earth on a home furnishings line, also available online.
