With new initiative ‘Relove Saaki’, shoppers can search through their online purchase history with Saaki, choose an item from the list that they wish to resell, and Saaki will send them the shipping label when the item sells. Shoppers can browse through pre-loved Saaki items and purchase them at discounted prices, according to Saaki’s website.

“At Saaki, we always look for ways to give back,” said the brand’s co-founder Sushruthi Krishna, Asian News International reported. “We started with using sustainable packaging materials for our orders. With Relove Saaki, we are taking another step towards being a responsible fashion brand. This initiative is an ideal example of how brands can continue to grow while having a limited impact on the environment through rethinking business practices and shifting focus on innovation. We are positive that our customers will find this addition valuable.”

“Technology has the power to change the way we have structured business models in the past,” said Relove founder Prateek Gupta. “The possibilities have been extended by building circular technologies that are user-friendly and we hope to change the way the world works.”

Saaki launched in 2020 as a direct-to-customer ethnic wear brand. In less than two years of launching, the brand has grown to reach an annual revenue total of over Rs 10 crore and counts 70% of its revenue as organic. Saaki currently ships from India to over 15 countries and aims to continue to widen its distribution network.
