SP Apparels Q4 net profit up 97 percent to Rs 19 crore

SP Apparels Limited (SPAL) witnessed a 97 percent rise in its net profit to Rs 19 crore ($2.8 million) for the fourth quarter ended March 2019 as against Rs 10 crore it had reported in the corresponding quarter last fiscal.

The company’s revenue for the quarter also rose 24 percent to Rs 213 crore as against Rs 172 crore it had reported in March 2018.
 
SP Apparels EBITDA was at Rs 34 crore for the quarter down by a percent from Rs 34.44 crore it had reported in March 2018.

For the full financial year 2018-19, SP Apparels saw its profit jump 53 percent to Rs 73 crore as against Rs 47 crore it had reported in the previous fiscal year. The revenue for the year was Rs 829 crore a growth of 22 percent from the Rs 678 crore it reported last fiscal.
 
S P Apparels Limited is engaged in the business of manufacturing and exporting garments. It owns the women’s wear brand, Natalia.
 
The company also has the exclusive right to manufacture, distribute and market products under the ‘Crocodile’ brand in India.
