A graduate of the HEC business school, the group's new Chief Financial Officer and Director of Operations who replaces Emmanuel Pradère, honed his skills within the Kering group.

Philippe Gautier began his career at Redcats and then, from 2009 to 2014, he worked for Puma in Boston, first as Chief Financial Officer and then as Director of Operations for Puma North America. Most recently he was Chief Financial Officer for Sergio Rossi in Milan.

As for Paul Griffin, who will replace Dinah Emsalem, who took care of the subsidiary as it gained a foothold, was President of Ted Baker's North American retail branch, based in New York.

He was appointed to the post in 2002, to lead the brand's development in the region, initially as Executive Vice-President in charge of retail operations. He had joined Ted Baker in 1999, and held several operational posts within the retail division before that.

On these recruitments, SMCP's President Daniel Lalonde stated: "We have the pleasure of welcoming Philippe Gautier and Paul Griffin. Their international careers within prestigious groups and their solid knowledge of retail operations are major assets that will sustain our brands' vigorous development, continuing in the tracks of their predecessors."
