Rupa & Company Q3 net profit jumps 34 percent to Rs 58 crore

Rupa and Company Ltd witnessed a 34 percent rise in its net profit at Rs 58 crore ($7.8 million) for the third quarter ended December 2021, as against a net profit of Rs 43 crore in the year-ago period.
 

The company’s revenue for the quarter rose by 25 percent to Rs 433 crore, as against Rs 346 crore it reported in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
 
Commenting on the Q3 results, Dinesh Kumar Lodha, CEO of Rupa and Company in a statement said, “We are extremely proud to announce that we continue to build upon the momentum in our growth trajectory. As previously defined in our growth strategy, we continue to see robust demand for our attractively priced high-quality products.”

“Going forward, in response to growing demand from international markets, we intend to rapidly grow our exports business. We have always been committed to our long-term goal of providing the highest level of consumer satisfaction with our products and brands and we are confident of achieving robust operational and financial performance going ahead,” he added.
