Roperro launches online platform with flagship accessories brand 'Lerida'

New business Roperro has launched as a multi-brand fashion and accessories e-commerce platform with ‘Lerida’ as its flagship label along with four other brands.

Roperro has launched online with the tagline ‘everyday indulgence’ and a selection of men’s and women’s accessories, the business announced in a press release on July 7. All of the products on Roperro are made in India and designed to blend global fashion trends with Indian heritage aesthetics and craftsmanship. 

“Our vision is to become a global leader in the luxury apparels and accessories market by catering to the fashion and styling needs of young adults across the country to start with,” said Roperro’s CEO Arpita Katyal in a press release. “We are excited to launch a thoughtfully crafted brand that provides the perfect blend of affordability and luxury to our customers who will both be local and global. We see a clear gap in the Indian market where fashion lovers do not have access to high quality products that can be used every day, and with Roperro we will bridge this gap by creating an everyday indulgence category.”

Roperro’s parent company is Malik Tanning Industries which has manufactured leather goods for around 30 years. Malik Tanning Industries is a member of the Council of Leather Exporters and the Apparel Export Promotion Council and engages in a number of charitable initiatives which will include donating a portion of profits from Roperro to the Vidya Devi Charitable Trust.
