The designs for Narsinghani’s maiden digital collection are taken from the Gaia collection which was originally shown at the virtual Helsinki Fashion Week in 2020, the brand announced in a press release. Launching digital jewellery designs to the public is part of the designer’s commitment to sustainability as it removes wastage involved in the sampling process connected to photographing jewellery on models for press.

“The collection is about a journey of someone going from chaos and clutter to a space of heightened consciousness, a space of transformation,” Narsinghani said in a press release. “In a way it gives someone rebirth in terms of how they are with themselves and how that reflects outwards. That is what the illustrations reflect and of course showcasing each piece with that kind of emotion.”

Roma Narsinghani specialises in conceptual brass jewellery inspired by architectural designs and structural accents. Narsinghani graduated with a BA in Fashion from Central Saint Martins, UK and interned with Manish Arora before launching her own jewellery label.

“The Roma Narsinghani woman is sophisticated and bold, someone who actively expresses her cultivated taste and is not afraid to experiment,” said Narsinghani. “Each piece is dedicated to showcasing the individuality of the wearer and is painstakingly handcrafted by skilled artisans. With each design, I distil multiple references to create something completely new. My pieces can be bold and striking or whimsical and quirky.”

The brand uses sustainable packaging and has a made-to-order policy to reduce waste. Roma Narisinghani is currently stocked with Aashni + Co, Ogaan, Ikkivi, Rooted Objects, Maison Orient, Nykaa, Tata clique, Kaanj, and Nimai and jewellery is priced between Rs 2,000 and Rs 30,000.
