Rohit Gandhi, Rahul Khanna launch debut couture collection at Ensemble

Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna have released their first-ever couture collection entitled “The Luminous Wave” and the line is now available at Ensemble.

The collection, which features gun-metal hued gowns and body-con silhouettes, sequins and glitter, and sheer fabrics and stone-work, brings us the designers’ classic modern take on Indian traditional wear. With dramatic beaded fringing and daring cut-out panels in gowns, the collection takes the glamour of their ready to wear collections up a notch.

The brand’s current ready-to-wear collection, “Tirelessly Twilight”, shown at Lotus Makeup India Fashion Week in 2018, was already available at Ensemble and the multi-brand luxury boutique has now added the brand’s couture to its selection. Ensemble retails an array of Indian designers from its e-commerce store as well as from boutiques across India.

The design duo Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna started working together and formed their eponymous brand in 1997.

Since then, the duo have gone on to win GQ’s Designer of the Year Award in 2011 and have also partnered with the apparel businesses Van Heusen and Wills Lifestyle. The brand has three flagship stores in India, all in Delhi, and also retails through multi-brand boutiques in India and internationally.
