On March 16, Rohit Kamra presented an androgynous take on Indian traditional wear for his latest collection. With a colour palette of neutrals including cream, beige, and sand, as well as black, the collection featured both occasion and casual wear. Aparshakti Khurrana and Guneet Monga took centre stage as the designer’s showstoppers and concluded the show.

Kamra presented simple yet sharply tailored looks on the runway and details like feature buttons and accents of brocade added an opulent touch. Womenswear also featured with complimentary long jackets and fitted trousers as a feminine take on transitional menswear.

Rohit Kamra specialises in traditional and fusion wear inspired by India’s cultural heritage. The brand opened its doors in Mumbai last November with a bespoke menswear boutique in Colaba and the brand also has stores in Pune and Jaipur.

LMIFW ran from March 13 to 16 and was organised by the Fashion Design Council of India. The event took place at the Jawaharlal Stadium in New Delhi and runs twice a year.
